Triple digit temperatures persist into the weekend

For the fifth day in a row, triple digit temperatures have been felt across the Coachella Valley. The high in Palm Springs today was 108° -- average is 97°.

The Excessive Heat Warning remain in effect through tomorrow evening.

Finally some relief will be felt this weekend with highs in the low 100s.

Confidence in what next week has to offer is still low at this point. Regardless, it won't be near as hot as this week was.
