Cooling continues into weekend
Once again Palm Springs has taken a step towards cooling down though we're still experiencing above-normal temperatures. Today the high at the airport was 106° -- average is 97°.
The breezy, and at times gusty, northwest wind will follow us into Saturday morning as a trough of low pressure moves along the west coast.
The weekend is quickly approaching and temperatures will continue to cool for Saturday and Sunday and cloud cover will increase into early next week.
