The Heatwave Continues this Week
High pressure remains large and in charge this week, so the heat will stay with us.
Underneath that ridge of high pressure, dry air filters in keeping dew points in check and humidity fairly low.
We do see some weakening of the surface high midweek, so temperatures drop below 110 degrees briefly before returning to the one-teens for next weekend.
