Gusty Tuesday night followed by increasing moisture for latter half of week

A Wind Advisory will take effect at 5:00 p.m. for the San Gorgonio Pass, stretching into the northern Coachella Valley. Use extra caution while driving as the wind could gust up to 60 MPH.

The majority of the Coachella Valley is not included in the advisory, but gusts are still expected to exceed 30 MPH, especially along I-10. Take action to protect your property by closing down patio umbrellas!

Remnants of Eugene are being steered northeast toward Southern California. Expect an increase in cloud cover this evening, along with rising dew point temperatures, into the 60s, on Wednesday. A slight chance for thunderstorms exists, predominately over area mountains, through Thursday.

Conditions will remain on the sticky side through Friday before gradually drying and warming through the weekend. Highs look to return to 110°+ early next week.
