Warmer through Wednesday, cool down follows

It's beginning to feel like fall in the desert.

High pressure presently dominates over the region, bringing dry air in from the west and seasonable temperatures for daytime high temperatures.

Each afternoon and evening, light winds stir up sand and dust, especially for areas in the west and mid valley around I-10. Here's a look at Monday night's winds.

Warm temperatures are expected through the middle of the week. A trough of low pressure arrives by the end of the week, which means potentially stronger winds. Temperatures around 10° below normal follow for Saturday and Sunday.
