Calm start to the work week; active weather pattern on the way

Mild conditions are expected to start off the work week. Daytime highs will remain near the seasonal average (80°) until an incoming Pacific storm system makes landfall in our region midweek.

If you're heading out early this morning, packing light layers may be a good idea as temperatures remain in the low 60s until mid-morning. Temperatures are expected to peak at 82° as dry air continues to dominate, making for a comfortable forecast.

You may notice an increase in humidity Tuesday into Wednesday as the storm system moves in. Precipitation is possible late Wednesday but is most likely on Thursday and Friday. Rain will continue into Saturday before the storm system pushes east on Sunday.
