Dry and chilly through the weekend

Santa Ana winds are expected consistently over the next few days. It will be breezy for wind prone areas, but quiet for cities south of I-10.

Dry air cools quickly in the overnight hours, so a Freeze Warning has been issued for areas of the High Desert until 8 a.m. Sunday morning. Temperatures could drop to the upper 20s and low 30s. Sensitive plants and pets should be brought indoors.

Long term looking 6-10 days out, temperatures are expected to remain consistently below normal for this time of year.

More clouds are expected overhead for Sunday. Temperatures rebound slightly through Tuesday. More moisture is anticipated regionally by the end of the week with chances for showers locally starting Thursday.
