Calm weekend weather continues

Temperatures this weekend are expected to stay slightly below average. Those attending Ironman in Indian Wells should expect early morning temperatures to drop as low as the upper 40s with 70s by the afternoon.

While much of the country is anticipating wetter than normal weather in the days to come, both short-term and long-term forecasts indicate a trend toward drier conditions across our region. Chances of rain, if any, over the upcoming week are expected to remain west of the Coachella Valley.

Temperatures will get a bump into the 80s by midweek with the help of high pressure. They'll cool again to the upper 60s by next weekend. Winds may pick up during those temperature transitions, but the strongest gusts will likely remain isolated to wind prone areas.
