Mild weekend, more wind and heat ahead

Temperatures continue to remain right around seasonable averages in the upper 70s. Sunday will likely start in the 50s and warm close to the 80s by late afternoon.

Beyond Sunday, temperatures teeter between the mid to upper 70s for most of the week. By next weekend 80s may make a come back. Long-term temperature trends from the Climate Prediction Center show expected warming for Southern California and the surrounding region.

Don't forget to spring forward tonight! Winds become breezy by the start of next week with a few rounds of low pressure creating occasionally gusty conditions in the days to follow. We stay dry for the upcoming forecast period.
