Another day of record heat expected

Highs hit a record 100 at Thermal yesterday afternoon, and we're likely to see that repeated in many valley cities this afternoon. High pressure remains in place, keeping the heatwave in place through tomorrow.

Highs will span the upper 90s and lower 100s today, but by tomorrow the high pressure ridge begins to breakdown so temps will begin to ease a bit.

Highs will return to near-normal conditions by Friday and through the weekend, with temps in the lower and middle 80s!
