Warm-up continues through Friday
Triple digits are about a day away as high pressure continues to spread across the Western U.S.
The heat will run about 10 degrees above average today, increasing through Friday before dropping back into the 90s.
Heat spreads cross the Desert Southwest as high pressure controls the entire region.
After brief few days of lower triple digits, temps will gradually drop back toward normal conditions by the middle of next week.
