Temps continue their climb

Highs will again jump into the lower triple digits today, a degree or two above yesterday's high of 106. High pressure will control the forecast well into next week.

Increasing temps will be the main weather story through early next week with above average highs anticipated.

We are also tracking monsoonal moisture, which so far isn't threatening a California incursion, so things should remain dry despite the heat.

Temps will reach their peak on Monday and Tuesday, with only minor drops into midweek.
