Slightly warmer than normal into the work week

Highs will be cooler than last week, but still above average much of the week. Today in particular, we'll see temps in the lower 90s.

High pressure off the coast, coupled with a significant trough moving into the Pacific Northwest, will encourage onshore winds, so expect a bit of breeziness today.

Winds will peak in the mid-teens this afternoon.

An Air Quality Watch is in effect for portions of SoCal, and the Air Quality Management District has issued a "No-Burn Day" for the air quality basin today.

Highs will be slightly cooler through the week, dipping into the 80s (closer to seasonal norms) but back into the 90s by the weekend.
