Cool with scattered showers possible

A lingering area of low pressure will bring a chance of scattered showers, especially overnight tonight, and reinforce the colder air mass. Temps will run about 10 degrees colder than normal this week.

Highs today will barely make it into the 70s.

The low pressure system (weaker than the one over the weekend) will drop closer to us so the better chance of rain is after 9 p.m. and through about 5 a.m.

We will track the potential for rainfall overnight.

Should we see those showers, rainfall totals will come in under 0.10" so don't expect a lot of rain out of this latest system.

Weather remains active and unsettled through the week, with another chance of showers by Friday. We'll finally seem some closer-to-normal conditions by the weekend.
