Sunny & cool today, with more rain by tomorrow night

Expect a sunny and cool midweek, but rain returns to the forecast heading into Thursday evening as a vigorous front arrives.

We hit 70 yesterday afternoon, and I expect to match that later today, but it will be cool throughout the day and the rest of the with highs running 8-10 degrees below average.

Clouds will be on the increase late tomorrow afternoon, with showers developing in the late afternoon, or more likely in the evening hours and overnight.

Rainfall totals will be wide-ranging, but expect anywhere from 0.25" to 0.75" of rain from Thursday night through early Saturday, with some locations seeing up to an inch!

A Winter Storm Watch has just been issued for the San Bernardino and Riverside County Mountains. This is in place for elevations above 6,500 feet. It will take effect on Thursday morning and will be in place through Saturday morning. There could be up to 16 inches of snow! Expect travel difficulties for these areas as well.

Rain should clear out heading into Saturday, and we warm up closer to seasonal norms (78), highs will range from 75 to 79 into early next week in advance of Thanksgiving and the big travel week.
