Thankful for great holiday weather in the Coachella Valley!
THOUSAND PALMS, Calif. (KESQ) – Happy Thanksgiving! There's a lot to be thankful for today, including this gorgeous forecast into the weekend!
High clouds have been present pretty much all day long, making for some beautiful skies. Despite the moisture aloft, conditions have been comfortably dry on the ground. Pro tip: sunset photos tonight will likely be spectacular. If you haven't taken your family photos yet, consider golden hour!

We're blessed to be able to say Thanksgiving dinner can be held in your backyards this evening! Here's a look at your dinnertime temperatures in Palm Springs. Maybe consider a cozy sweater later into the night, but these are some fantastic temperatures.

If you're planning on Black Friday shopping bright and early tomorrow morning, bundle up for a chilly (by the desert's standards) morning.

Highs heat up throughout the rest of the day, though, likely into the low 80s – very similar to Turkey Day. That's a bit above our seasonal average, but still quite comfortable. This is what people travel to the valley for!

Highs slowly and steadily begin to drop into the weekend. Expect highs in the mid 70s by early next week, before we continue dropping further. Some models are showing the potential for some more showers in SoCal sometime next week, but those chances look quite low for the deserts right now.
