Mild this week as temperatures gradually cool

THOUSAND PALMS, Calif. (KESQ) – As millions head home from their Thanksgiving destinations today, we're enjoying some fantastic weather in the desert. Over the next week, we're seeing some very seasonal conditions in the Coachella Valley.

It's been quiet in our region, but across the nation, significant weather has been impacting the East Coast. It comes after we tracked rain pushing through the South and snow through the Great Lakes region yesterday.

Locally, expect highs in the mid 70s for most valley cities tomorrow, which is just a tick above seasonal.

Can you believe November is already wrapping up? Here's a look at the ups and downs we experienced through the month, including record heat we experienced before we had 10 days of cooler-than-normal and wet weather! We ended the month on a warmer note, but it really felt fantastic in the valley.

Looking ahead at the week, we'll be hovering at or slightly above seasonal average pretty much all week long. Highs gradually cool through the middle portion of the week. Overall, expect dry weather with a couple periods of weak offshore flow/Santa Ana winds (wind impacts appear minimal). Highs warm slightly into next weekend. No complaints from me!
