No end in sight for the above-average weather

Spencer Blum

The warm weather continues here in the valley. High pressure continues to dominate the region and is particularly stubborn. Minor movements in the core of the system are translating to minimal changes aside from minor day-to-day temperature variations. There are some very light offshore winds across the region. They are not impactful for the Coachella Valley, but they are keeping our skies clear and on the dry side.

Daily highs will remain well above the seasonal average for the foreseeable future. A few degrees of cooling are likely for the weekend, but we will still be in the low 80s. Average high temperatures for this time of year are ~70°F. On the bright side, skies will remain mostly clear for the forecast period.
