Even warmer today as we head towards the weekend

Highs will again climb well into the 80s under a broad and expanding ridge of high pressure.

Across all of the Western U.S. highs remain anywhere from 10 to 20 degrees above average, and our temps today will be more than 15 degrees above the seasonal norm of 69.

Throughout the weekend, temps will still be in the 80s, in fact, staying elevated through the entirety of next week.
