Warmer than usual weather continues this week

THOUSAND PALMS, Calif. (KESQ) – It's staying warm and pleasant here in the valley! We've seen some very consistent conditions over the past few days that will likely stay similar into the workweek.

Temperatures stay comfortable through dinnertime, dipping into the 60s around 7 or 8 o'clock. Expect a an overnight low in the upper 50s by Monday morning.

Tomorrow, we should warm to the mid 80s, a few degrees warmer than Sunday. Monday and Tuesday are likely to pack the warmest temperatures of the week by a degree or two.

Highs remain far warmer than usual in the extended forecast. Our FutureTrack temperature models continue to indicate highs will stay this way even in about 6-10 days.

There's not a whole lot of change this week. Periods of weak offshore flow will help warm us (particularly on Monday and Tuesday). Aside from that, expect a quiet and pleasant week weatherwise.
