The warm trend continues through the weekend

Despite a significant storm system taking shape to our North, the mild and well above average conditions will persist into early next week for SoCal.

A strong front moves through Northern California today, which will result in gusty winds from L.A. County up through the Central Coast. A wind advisory is in place through 10 p.m. due to the potential for dangerous winds in that region.

Highs this afternoon will be just off the pace of yesterday, but still in the middle 80s.

Temps steadily but slowly drop heading into the weekend. By midweek, a chance of rain will show up in the forecast just in time for Christmas.
