Temperatures gradually warm and winds gradually ease

Spencer Blum

It's another mild afternoon here in the valley with comfortable temperatures and mostly clear skies. Thanks to the lingering offshore/Santa Ana winds, conditions across both the valley and the broader Southern California region are very dry. Locally, dew points are in the teens and 20s.

The High Wind Warning that was in place forthe Pass and Desert Hot Springs was allowed to expire and had been replaced with a Wind Advisory. This will remain in effect for the highlighted areas through 2 PM Monday, as Santa Ana winds linger across the region. Still take caution if driving a high-profile vehicle through these areas.

Thanks to the high pressure building over the region and the offshore winds, skies will remain clear over the coming days. Temperatures will gradually warm up to the low 80s for the middle to end of this upcoming workweek.
