Near record highs persist into the weekend

High pressure will once again push highs into the middle 90s.

Highs topped out at 95 degrees yesterday, which tied the previous 40-year-old record.

Highs today will be back in the middle 90s, but the record for the date is 99 so I doubt we'll see that number matched or exceeded.

highs will dance near record levels into the weekend, before dropping into the 80s early next week.
