Heat & humidity are a big part of the weekend forecast

Dew points remain high, and temps will be in the one-teens again today as an Extreme Heat Warning continues through today. That warning should expire by later this evening.

Highs are expected to be hotter than yesterday, into the lower one-teens.

Dew points have dropped a few degrees, so it should be a touch drier this afternoon.

We are still watching for the development of monsoonal thunderstorms around the region, mainly to our East and up into the high desert region.

The good news in the forecast is a cooling trend that arrives starting on Sunday, taking temps to below normal levels for most of next week.
