Thick black smoke poured out of the Verizon building on Sunrise Road in Palm Springs, Tuesday morning, after authorities say a generator’s fuel line caught fire. The fire was reported at about 7:45am at the corner of Sunrise and Amado. Authorities say the company has a monthly inspection to check its generators for safety issues.
