Cabazon Brush Fire

Firefighters have contained a brushfire in Cabazon that consumed 35 acres. The fire was reported Sunday at 11:21 a.m. near Haugen-Lehmann Way and Interstate 10. Four aircraft aided 85 firefighters in controlling the blaze. No structures were threatened and there were no reports of injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Palm Desert Power Outage

More than 300 customers living near Hwy 74, Eagle Road, Vista Valle, Willow Road, Vista Paseo, Raven Road, and Edge Hill Road lost power around 5:45 pm according to a Southern California Edison representative.
