An alleged drunk driver rear ended another vehicle that was stopped at a DUI checkpoint in Palm Springs Friday. While the Palm Springs Police Dept. conducted its checkpoint on the 1100 block of East Tahquitz Canyon Way, a speeding vehicle approached the screening area and hit another vehicle that police had stopped at the checkpoint.
