Seven Desert Sands Unified elementary schools awarded state honors

Seven schools in the Desert Sands Unified School District have been honored under California’s Gold Ribbon Schools Awards Program. UT student sexually assaulted and strangled

According to law enforcement officials familiar with the investigation, University of Texas-Austin dance student Haruka Weiser was sexually assaulted and strangled to death last week.
