Desert Hot Springs football set to retire #1 Solomon Patrick jersey
On July 2nd Solomon Patrick, a Desert Hot Springs 2016 graduate, was shot and killed. A former football player for the Golden Eagles tallying 6-touchdowns his senior season, and now the team is going to pay their respects week 1 (August 26th vs Palm Desert). They are set to retire his #1 jersey and a white-out from the players and the fans is planned.
