Investigation underway after body found in Thousand Palms
UPDATE 8:10 a.m.
We now know the name of the man whose body was found. Fifty-five year old Kevin Koch of Bermuda Dunes was found near Washington and Varner Wednesday.

ORIGINAL STORY:
Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a body found in Thousand Palms.
Deputies received a call around 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday on a report of a possible deceased male in the area of Washington north of Varner Road where it turns into Ramon Road. Deputies arrived and found a deceased male.
The man’s name has not been released and an investigation is ongoing.
