Super heroes descend on Coachella Valley: Your guide to Comic Con Palm Springs 2017
Prepare to see super heroes, zombies and more as Comic Con returns to Palm Springs.
The event is a chance to walk among comic book and entertainment enthusiasts and showcase your favorite characters.
Comic Con Palm Springs gives exhibitors a chance to display comics and memorabilia, as well as concerts, panels and autograph signings for fans to take part in.

The public is welcomed to dress up as their favorite characters as fans can enter the costume contest, one for adults and another just for the kids.

This year’s event sees the return of Marvel Comics founder, Stan Lee along with some familiar names in the world of TV and print. Also making Comic Con history in her first appearance of any Comic Con, television’s original “Wonder Woman”, Lynda Carter will perform in concert. She brings her “The Other Side of Trouble” tour to Palm Springs for one-night only.
Other notable guests include “Bionic Woman” star Lindsay Wagner, “SpongeBob” actor Tom Kenny and “Deadpool” artist Rob Liefeld. Fans can also check out a Zombie / Saber Walk through Downtown Palm Springs, Geek Fest Film Fest, and a celebration of the 25th anniversary of the comic book series “Death of Superman”.
A concert to kickoff the event will take place at Spa Resort Casino’s Cascade Lounge in Palm Springs. Tom Kenny and the Hi-Seas will be rocking out in the Cascade lounge on August 25 at 9 p.m.
KESQ News Channel 3’s Bianca Rae will be moderating a Comic Con Palm Springs panel on Saturday, August 26th! Bianca will lead the Palm Springs Women in Film and TV Presents: Women in Film and Television’ panel. A variety of professionals from Los Angeles and the desert will be talking about making movies.
