High School Football Preview: Desert Christian

“That’s our goal. What we are working towards, I won’t know until we start to get in the season and start to see how they grasp what we are doing. Making huge progress right now.

“Make an impact I guess, show them we are good enough to move up. Go out there and try to leave a mark.”

“Awesome to go really far, go all the way. Prove that we are good enough to go in 11-man next year.”

Former NFL player George Thomas takes over the program. He was the head coach at Indio for many years and then Palm Valley. A lot of experience going to help transition this squad.

“Doing everything confined to an 11-man game, and we alter it so 8-man for this season. Next year we will go into the same terminology, same page, and adding those extra guys we have.”

A senior quarterback returning in Wyatt Snellenberger, nearly 40-touchdowns between throwing the ball and running the rock. He has an AC Joint injury so he has missed most of Training Camp. Should get back in that offense, and when he does they can conqueor man opponents.

“Unifed as we have been my entire high school career. I believe we are going to me more intense, more aggressive, be out there and try to put something together and hopefully something happens out there.”
