Monday clouds for solar eclipse

Low pressure off the coast will continue to keep temperatures mild at the start of the week with a warm up expected by the weekend. Good news!

Bad news…Meanwhile, monsoonal moisture will send clouds toward the high desert tonight and tomorrow morning. Expect 40% cloud cover during the peak of the Great American Solar Eclipse for the high desert with 20% cloud cover for east valley, west valley, and the San Gorgonio Pass. East valley and west valley will be in the low 90’s during eclipse, the San Gorgonio Pass will be in the mid 70’s and the high desert will be in the upper 80’s.

Dew points will remain between 40 and 50 degrees throughout the work week with some overnight winds picking up lightly for wind prone areas.
