Emergency closures for I-10 and Hwy 60 interchange planned Sunday

(CNS) – Emergency closures Sunday to repair a bridge joint on the Interstate 10 and SR 60 interchange are expected to create complications for motorists.

Closures were set for 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will take place at the following locations:

Westbound I-10 connector to the westbound SR 60 Eastbound I-10 connector to the westbound SR 60 Westbound I-10 Sixth Street on-ramp

Traffic is expected to begin backing up around 9 to 10 a.m. and motorists were urged to use alternate routes, Caltrans spokesperson Terri Kasinga said.

A detour will be in place from Oak Valley Parkway to Potrero Boulevard to the westbound SR 60, Kasinga said.
