Power outages in Palm Desert and Rancho Mirage

UPDATE:

Power has been restored in Palm Desert as of 11:20 a.m.

1126 customers were without electricity in Palm Desert Monday morning after Southern California Edison reported equipment problems.

Service was interrupted at 7:57 a.m.

An Edison statement said all service was expected to be restored by 9:00 a.m.

Another outage in Rancho Mirage was being blamed on the weather.

Edison said 223 customers lost service at 10:57 p.m. Sunday night.

Those customers were expected to see their service restored by 3:00 p.m. Monday.
