31 rooms flooded at Palm Springs High School

Classes continued Monday at Palm Springs High School after this weekend’s storm caused flooding damage at the school.

The Palm Springs Unified School District said 31 classrooms at the high school suffered flood damage Saturday during Saturday’s downpours. Those classrooms will not be used until further notice. The school district is working to restore those classrooms.

The classrooms will be tested for mold before allowing students back into them.

Classes affected will be using other classrooms in the meantime. The damaged classrooms aren’t expected to interrupt the school.
