DVL volleyball season debuts with three sweeps

The defending league champion Palm Desert Aztecs picked up right where they left off, earning a straight sets victory in their DVL debut over Indio.

The Aztecs were accompanied by Palm Springs and Xavier Prep who also earned straight sets wins, over La Quinta and Cathedral City, respectively.

Shadow Hills did not have a league game but defeated CV in straight sets, as well. The Knights finished 2nd in league behind the Aztecs in the 2016 DVL season.

We’ll have continued high school volleyball coverage throughout the 2017 season.

Stay with Blake Arthur and Cody Krupp for the most extensive high school sports coverage in the desert!
