Burglary suspects charged in home break in

Pair arrested for allegedly breaking into a Desert Hot Springs home and stealing property have officially been charged by the Riverside County District Attorney’s office.

On August 11, Desert Hot Springs police responded to a report of a residential burglary at a house on the 9000 block of Calle De Vecinos.

Police arrived and found 28-year-old Wesley Patterson III, of Blythe, and 34-year-old Tara Leigh Savannah Jane Hinsdale, of Desert Hot Springs inside the residence. Police found property from inside the residence on the suspects at the time of the arrest.

According to court documents, the suspects willfully and unlawfully entered the building with intent to commit theft and a felony.

The DA did not originally press charges, as they needed more information on the case before charging them. The pair were released from custody as the investigation proceeded.

Now that they’ve officially been charged, warrants have been issued for their arrest.
