Car crashes into guard rail in Banning
A car crashed into a guard rail in Banning Thursday morning. It happened around 5:30 a.m. near Ramsey Street, near the Ramsey onramp.
CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters, with the assistance of the Morongo Fire Department, responded to reports of a traffic collision on Interstate 10 at Ramsey Street in Banning. Crews reported a car hit the guard rail with one person trapped inside. Firefighters extricated the victim, who was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.
The crash prompted a SIG Alert for almost an hour.
CHP says drugs or alcohol appear not to be a factor in the accident.
