The life & legacy of valley TV host, philanthropist Pattie Daly Caruso
Pattie Daly Caruso is described as a woman who had a zest for life, was kind to others and always giving back to the community.
Some of her oldest friends said her death isn’t a goodbye but a see you later
“It’s sad and it’s hard, but Pattie will never leave us. She will just change addresses,” said Janie Hughes, a board member for the Palm Springs Walk of Stars and 20-year friend of Daly Caruso.

Daly Caruso’s family said she passed away peacefully Sunday in her Palm Desert home. It was an unexpected loss for many.
“It was a complete shock to everybody. She was always healthy, vibrant, taking care of herself,” said Leanna Bonamici, president of Palm Springs Women in Film and Television.
Her close friends said Daly Caruso’s vibrant spirit shined in everything she did.
She was the host of the Coachella Valley’s longest standing TV show, “Valley Views”, which ran for over 25 years and covered local events, celebrities and people throughout the Coachella Valley.
“She didn’t hesitate to put a spotlight on all kinds of people and organizations and nonprofits, such a lovely thing to do,” said Mitch Blumberg of PSWIFT.
Daly Caruso was also a breast cancer survivor, an active philanthropist, a former board member for an active philanthropist and a former board member for PSWIFT.
“(She was) A mentor, a role model, a big sister to so many of us,” Bonamici said.
Pattie is survived by her daughter Quinn and son, well-known television host Carson Daly.

The public is invited to attend a Catholic Memorial Mass for Pattie Daly Caruso this Saturday at noon at Sacred Heart Church in Palm Desert.
