Man’s body found in Cathedral City field
UPDATE:
Cathedral City Police Commander Julio Luna released a statement on the death, saying:
“The preliminary investigations determined no suspicious circumstances exist as it appears to be a suicide. The scene was processed for evidence. The body was later turned over to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office.The name of the deceased male will not be released pending notification of next of kin.”

Cathedral City Police are investigating a man’s death after his body was found in a field.
County coroner’s officials said the unidentified victim was pronounced dead just around 5 p.m. Wednesday after being found about 150 feet behind 27900 Date Palm Drive, just south of Interstate 10.
