Cooler and drier conditions as storm moves east
Conditions are considerably drier today as a winter storm system moves further east. Rainfall totals were considerable across the valley and even resulted in some flooding and difficult travel.

We are left with breezy and cool conditions in the storm's wake. Conditions can be especially gusty for areas North of the I-10 and wind-prone locations.

It seems like sweater weather has come a little early this year! Though the winter storm system has departed, we are left with winter-like conditions as cool air lingers. Temperatures have dipped into the upper 60s today which is below our seasonal average of 82°.

Cooler conditions will persist into the weekend as a slow warming trend increases our temperatures into the 70s. An offshore flow arriving Sunday will lengthen this cool and dry pattern through the middle of next week.
