House fire forces man from home
A Desert Hot Springs man was forced from his home following an overnight fire early Friday morning.
Firefighters were called to the 17000 block of Avenida Manzana at 12:45 a.m.
Smoke was coming from a single story family home there.
The flames were contained to the structure within 20 minutes.
The American Red Cross was called to help a resident displaced by the fire.
There was no immediate report of any injuries and no word on the fire’s cause.
