PSPD’s Stuff the Bearcat event hailed as a “huge success”

The Palm Springs Police Department posted an update on the “Stuff the Bearcat Event” at 5 pm.

The Palm Springs Police Department will be stocking up goods for local seniors on Tuesday in its Bearcat tactical vehicle.

From 11 a.m. through 6 p.m. the department will be taking donations of essential items at the Palm Springs Walmart, 5601 E. Ramon Road.

Donations made during the “Stuff the Bearcat” event will benefit the Mizell Senior Center and its Meals on Wheels program.

Items that police recommend donating include: Blankets Robes Sweaters Towels Pajamas Kitchen items

Palm Springs police officers and other volunteers will be on hand throughout the day to accept donations and speak with residents.
