New concept bar DRINGK debuts on New Year’s Eve

While many people turned out for the official New Year’s Eve party at the river in Rancho Mirage, the event was a bit different from the festivities taking place a few miles away in Palm Springs.

“It’s the first night, the first launch of our restaurant and we’re doing it in fashion with New Year’s Eve,” said Kurt Gardner.

Gardner is the owner of the concept establishment DRINGK Eatery and Bar, which is replacing The Fox and The Fiddle.

Gardner said DRINGK has a more casual vibe than the previous restaurant. He opted to swap out high-top tables for couches and lowered the prices. He said it is geared to be more fun with happy hour prices all day land games at nearly every table.
