"80 for Brady" has some legendary stars, headlined by Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno, Sally Field and Lily Tomlin, who all walked the red carpet.

News Channel 3's Samantha Lomibao caught up with the stars of the film.

“Darling is the right word. It's sweet. It's cute. And it's got these gutsy big mouth ladies of a certain age- acting up and it's funny," said Rita Moreno who plays “Maura” in "80 for Brady".

It's a story about four best friends who decide to make the trip of a lifetime.

“She fought for her health. To get her health back, and she felt he [Tom Brady] was like a beneficial thing to her. And she then she gets in her mind that they'll all go to the Super Bowl," said Lily Tomlin.

Tomlin, starring as "Lou", takes the girls to not just see the game but to see the then-Patriots quarterback Tom Brady in action.

“I started getting weak in the knees. I took one look at Tom Brady and almost went down," said Fonda who played "Trish".

Most of them are big Brady fans in real life, but Field, who plays "Betty" tells me he’s almost too good.

“My feeling about him is very complicated because he's so good. And if you're rooting for the other team, you're not really thrilled with what he's doing," said Field.

But in the end, it’s a story about friendship.

“I think we've all worked together at one time or another. And so it's just special at this point in our lives to be able to to play a role like this," Tomlin explained.

A movie meant to bring laughs, joy and of course, some fun!

“I thought it was funny. I know that a lot of people love football. And that would bring a new fan base to a movie about older women and their friendships," Fonda said.
