YMCA hosting “Kids New Year’s Eve Bash” at Westfield Mall

Parents looking to escape the couch for New Year's Eve today can drop their kids off at the Westfield Mall for an event hosted by Family YMCA of the Desert.

From 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., the Kids New Year's Eve Bash will have games, crafts, movies, food and a photo booth.

The event will be held on Level 1 across from Express. Pickup will be at 10:30 p.m. at the entrance next to the Macy's parking garage.

At midnight, central time zone, kids will have the opportunity to ring in the New Year with a toast and nose makers. YMCA staff will be on hand to watch the kids.

The event is designed for kids ages 5 to 12.

Parents who bring in their receipt from the Kids New Year's Eve Bash to Stuft Pizza Bar & Grill will enjoy 10% off their purchase from 6 to 9:30 p.m.

A $30 donation helps support the local YMCA's activities throughout the Coachella Valley.
