Excessive heat again today

Highs will again span the lower one-teens this afternoon as the Excessive Heat Warning remains in effect.

That Excessive Heat Warning is up now through 8 this evening.

Increasing monsoon moisture, along with a trough moving into Northern California, will bring cooler temps into play through the weekend.

Highs will drop into the lower 100s and even highs 90s for the Labor Day Weekend, but it will feel a bit sticky.
