Cathedral City brings on the snow for the Holidays

Residents of the valley join the Cathedral City Council to celebrate the holidays at North Pole Village at Snow Fest. The event captures all the holiday spirit. You will also enjoy an outdoor market featuring holiday arts & crafts, food, treats, and beverages, including hot chocolate and cider.

The city says It is a Hollywood-style movie set themed as a Main Street at Santa's North Pole. You can enjoy the entire set lit with lights.

Our very own Meteorologist, Patrick Evans, will be EmCee of the event on the mainstage.

The city asks that you bring all the valley's children because there is an Elf Workshop, Holiday Dog Contest, and more.

Santa will arrive. At 5 pm, there will be the city's tree lighting ceremony.

Where: Cathedral City Civic Center Plaza

When: December 9th at 1 pm - 8 pm.

Stay to listen to local choirs sing, take a selfie in front of the North Pole Village, listen to the holiday DJ music, and wander through Town Square Park, which will be transformed into a winter wonderland.

At 7:45 pm, have all the kids gather around Town Square Park for the 20,000 Candy Cane Giveaway.
