A lovely Valentine’s Day in the desert

Temperatures have been very comfortable today and will continue to be mild this evening. Temperatures will fall into the 50s around 8 PM, so you may want to bring a jacket if you plan on eating outside.

We remain under a weak ridge of high pressure. This is allowing our temperatures to continue to subtly warm through the workweek. Temperatures will be close to average for tomorrow before continuing to climb into the mid/upper 70s by the start of this weekend.

We have been tracking a system that could potentially bring some rain to the desert early next week. The latest model runs show diminishing chances for rain, but wet weather cannot be ruled out for the Coachella Valley.

Temperatures continue to gradually warm heading into the weekend. Some breezy conditions will join us on Sunday as a slight chance of showers remains possible for the first half of next week.
